Water, wind, Gaia and tree..
Love and sacrifice.. Eternally free....
-------------------
He came to her, falling from the lofty high!!
Pure, fresh, pristine and oh! so shy!
There were others, but he paid no heed..
He loved, though she already was with a seed..
Taking aid from his friends that went breezing by..
And the brilliance of happiness from the bright sky..
Sacrificing for his love with no doubt or fear
He nurtured the seed of his beloved earthy dear..
While he rested in peace, having fulfilled his destiny..
The young one, sprang forth, a miracle oh! So tiny..
His earthy mother's child and named after another..
Yet preserving deep in his core, eternally, the nurturer..

Testimony of a silent observer...
I saw rivers run clean and streams of kindness from hearts flow
I witnessed distrust, doubts, pettiness and feelings shallow
But for every sad doubtful one, I saw manifold ones so kind
I saw humanity spring and surge - a pure soul, heart and mind!
I saw birds fly, and thoughts clear, unbound and free
I saw trappings too, of dogma and divisions of society
But for every shackle, I saw many boundaries broken
I saw freedom, harmony ricochet lucid and awoken!!
I saw the forests grow - the mirth of budding innocence...
A new awakening, of thoughts and of ideas a congruence
I saw a new bright dawn in majestic Gaia’s Life story!!
I saw renaissance anew, in its eternal splendour and glory!!

The girl and the rain
The girl in white, holding the blue umbrella, walked along looking quite pretty
She walked tall, her head held high; oh! very sweet and yet a bit snooty
From the heavens, the rain came pouring, driving everyone to the cover
Opening the umbrella, she stepped into the street, she didn't belong in the corner
As she trotted along, nose in the air, a strong gust of wind came rushing down
The powerful gale turned the umbrella inside out, making it look like a large crown
Away from the corners, nowhere to hide, under the downpour the girl was now stuck
Her attire all wet, water dripping down her hair, she ran in, cursing her luck..
She walked tall, her head held high; oh! very sweet and yet a bit snooty
From the heavens, the rain came pouring, driving everyone to the cover
Opening the umbrella, she stepped into the street, she didn't belong in the corner

A broken tune
The bubbles that once seemed like brown caps on soldiers swimming in muddy waters
Now remind us of pollution, filth, dirty splashes, stains and splatters
The paper boats are long gone, gone, are the carefree jaunts in rains
The downpours now bring forth the dread of peak traffic jams and pains...
The sky and the earth are the same, so are the waters that come rushing down
Yet, this heart of mine that once sang out, now makes me worry and frown
Bewildered, I delved, high and low, seeking that long lost happy tune
Found it, broken and strewn amongst, memories thrown aside as picayune
Now remind us of pollution, filth, dirty splashes, stains and splatters
The paper boats are long gone, gone, are the carefree jaunts in rains
The downpours now bring forth the dread of peak traffic jams and pains...
The sky and the earth are the same, so are the waters that come rushing down
Yet, this heart of mine that once sang out, now makes me worry and frown
Bewildered, I delved, high and low, seeking that long lost happy tune
Found it, broken and strewn amongst, memories thrown aside as picayune

Are you me
Into nothingness, she stares on! Searching all the while...
Expressionless eyes stare back, as she attempts, in vain, to smile...
Her pain she hides, in the protective fortress of her broken heart...
Holding on to some strange hope and a tattered dream, long ripped apart...
Her perfect features and porcelain like skin, to a life gone, give a testimony
As I walked away, that undead breathing cadaver whispered, "are you me?"

Gratitude
He beat her down mercilessly, left her in the abyss to die
Pulling her broken remains together, she strives on, don't ask why!
Oh! the misplaced faith in piety and traditional law of virginity
And she says, "Thank you God, I know you did it all for me"
Those who tortured her for monetary and sheer material gains
Lie helpless, seeking her, as a balm to soothe and to ease their pains
Burning herself out, for kindness sake, she looks up and smiles sadly!!
And she says, "Thank you God, I know you did it all for me!!
He threw her out on her ear, gave her a kick, sent her on her way
And gave her a strange assurance that he prayed for her, every day...
Hanging her head, she laughs through bitter tears at the irony
And she says, "Thank you God, I know you did it all for me...
She is a walker, I know, she will gather herself and depart soon
To tarry, for her is dooming!! A flowing river, she is, like the monsoon
In a hurry to reach the final home, she is now beyond all help worldly
And She says, "Thank you God, I know you did it all for me...
Pulling her broken remains together, she strives on, don't ask why!
Oh! the misplaced faith in piety and traditional law of virginity
And she says, "Thank you God, I know you did it all for me"

The false matriarch
In a make believe world of pretentious relationships...
Lived a matriarch, song in her heart and smile on her lips
Trust beyond every reason, she had, and love sublime..
She was so sure, there was no doubt this time
A feeling uncommon, a maternal instinct beyond all..
A bond never to fail, a house never to fall...
But alas.. of cards it was made, a wisp of pretence mere
Lamenting she lies, amongst ruins of something she held so dear
Lived a matriarch, song in her heart and smile on her lips
Trust beyond every reason, she had, and love sublime..
She was so sure, there was no doubt this time
A feeling uncommon, a maternal instinct beyond all..
A bond never to fail, a house never to fall...
But alas.. of cards it was made, a wisp of pretence mere
Lamenting she lies, amongst ruins of something she held so dear
